Division Order Analyst Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Division Order Analyst to support ownership and revenue administration activities. This role is responsible for reviewing title documentation, maintaining ownership records, preparing division orders, resolving ownership-related issues, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of ownership interests.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of land and division order principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, and supporting legal documentation, including wills, probates, assignments, liens, taxes, leases, and other curative records.
  • Establish, calculate, and maintain ownership interests and related records.
  • Prepare and distribute division orders accurately and within established timelines.
  • Research and resolve ownership discrepancies, title issues, and revenue-related inquiries.
  • Provide professional support to interest owners by addressing complex ownership questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, land professionals, interest owners, and cross-functional teams to resolve title requirements and ownership disputes.
  • Analyze prior-period adjustments and investigate revenue variances.
  • Interpret chains of title and calculate royalty, overriding royalty, and working interest ownership.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience in Division Order, Land Administration, Oil & Gas Ownership Administration, or a related field.
Preferred
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience working with land, ownership, or revenue management systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Understanding of division order and land administration principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret ownership documents and perform complex ownership calculations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Strong collaboration skills while also being able to work independently.
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 100% onsite
