- Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company's patients.
- Attend to personal care needs as required using the Rules and Regulations document provided by the Company.
- Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinic appointments.
- Assist or stand-by assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.
- Perform housekeeping tasks as directed (make beds, change and launder linens).
- Wash dishes, prepare meals, and grocery shop; clean kitchen, bathroom, and living areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, mop floors (ensure floors are dry before leaving).
- Advise staffing director of requests that cannot be met or conditions that are unsafe.
- Be dependable to consumers and Company by providing and documenting services on time sheets.
- Additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and other documents.
- Requires personal transportation, valid state-issued driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance as required by law.
- Some experience working with elderly and frail individuals; training provided.
- Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00—$18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift
- Night shift
Experience: Home Care 1 year (Preferred)
