Host Home Provider - Denver

Salary Range: $18,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year depending on the client’s disability level

We are seeking experienced Host Home Providers who are willing to open their home and foster an individual who can no longer live independently in their own community and prefers not to live in a communal setting. Providers share their home and lives with individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Host Home Provider, you will take the client into your home, provide them with a private bedroom, and give hands‑on support and ongoing daily care.

• Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, meal preparation, and dressing
• Assist with medical care, including appointments and administering medications
• Provide employment coaching to help the client secure a job
• Offer a variety of recreational activities to enhance social development
• Include the client in family life and activities
• Accompany the client to supermarkets, museums, parks, dances, recreation centres, etc.
• Provide transportation as needed
• Maintain documentation of progress notes and medical records
• Teach life‑learning skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education (required)
• Completed and passed criminal and motor‑vehicle background checks
• Completed training for medication administration, CPR/First Aid, and ongoing training requirements
• At least 1 year of experience as a host home provider
• Experience with behavioural needs preferred
• Experience with medical needs preferred (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, RNs)
