Position is nights:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday . Call shift on Saturday night (about once per month/every other month).
* Additional night shift differential of $5.50/hr. starting at 1900 - end of shift.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Position is nights:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday . Call shift on Saturday night (about once per month/every other month).
* Additional night shift differential of $5.50/hr. starting at 1900 - end of shift.
Individual performs diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operates ultrasound equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of the company. Is able to provide care to his/her assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment.
Maintains technical skills and is responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety. Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning. Assists in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment.
What qualifications you will need:
Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required and one of two preferred specialties:
Abdomen or OB/Gyn. Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
Familiar with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures. High degree of manual, critical thinking skills, and dexterity skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
