Job Summary

As a Caregiver specializing in Homemaking, you will play a vital role in supporting clients by assisting with daily living activities, promoting safety, and enhancing their overall quality of life. You will provide personalized care in a respectful and dignified manner, ensuring that each client's unique needs are met to foster a sense of independence and well‑being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide homemaking services including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Ensure a clean and organized living environment tailored to each client’s preferences and health requirements.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental condition to appropriate personnel.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and hobbies to promote mental stimulation and companionship.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Respect client confidentiality by adhering to professional standards and policies.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age preferred. If under 18, custodial parent/guardian must sign approval for work.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in exchanges between the client, families, other providers, and administrative staff members.
  • Must be able to pass CBI background check, and Colorado CAPS check prior to assignment. Cannot be listed on the National Sex Offender Registry. Cannot be listed on the OIG Exclusion List. If applicable, professional license must be valid.
  • Must be willing to understand and respect clients in their homes, including their ethics, value, and confidentiality of care.
