Travel CVOR Technologist

Position Summary

Med Pro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Denver, Colorado. The position starts on 03/23/2026, lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week divided into 12‑hour shifts.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or a completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open‑heart patient population.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed.
• Experience with CABG and other cardiac procedures.

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Functions proficiently in scrubbing, second circulating, and third person/Heart Holder roles of the CVOR.
• Picks supplies for surgeries, sets up instruments and scrubs for surgical procedures, and performs instrument and sponge count accurately.
• Obtains specimens, hands them over to circulating nurse, and verifies location.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in the department on‑call schedule.
