Healthy Aging‑Client Services Manager (CHII) and Director of Community Engagement (CHII)
Salary:
Level I – $26.50 hourly (up to 2 years of direct experience). Level II – $39.76 hourly (3 years of direct experience). Bilingual premium for qualifying languages: 3.5% higher than starting salary if pass bilingual exam on first week of hire.

The Food Bank Lead oversees day‑to‑day operations and strategic coordination of food access services at Colorado Health Network (CHN), supporting people living with HIV and individuals impacted by food insecurity and co‑occurring health concerns. Reporting to CHII leadership, the Lead supervises the Food Bank Coordinator and supports operational workflows, staff and volunteer training, quality improvement and community engagement. This role ensures compliance with Ryan White Standards of Care including the provision of food, allowable hygiene and cleaning supplies and food vouchers (or gift cards with strict usage policies) excluding financial assistance or non‑licensed nutritional collaboration with Client Services and Case Management.
The Lead helps conduct assessments of client dietary needs and maintains accurate documentation and disbursement tracking. Working closely with internal departments and community partners, the Food Bank Lead ensures equitable access to services, food safety and regulatory compliance. This role also standardizes procedures across sites, supports quality assurance efforts and aligns food bank programming with CHN’s broader public health goals.
Job Functions
- Provide daily oversight and support of food bank operations including scheduling, staffing, volunteer coordination and physical site readiness.
- Mentor Food Bank Coordinator(s); provide coaching, delegation and performance feedback.
- Ensure full compliance with Ryan White Standards of Care and applicable local/state food handling regulations; maintain all documentation of food safety inspections and licenses.
- Coordinate and document client eligibility assessments and reassessments in partnership with case management and intake teams, including coordinating and conducting Home Delivery for eligible clients with mobility and transportation challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of client service units including food disbursements, signed receipts and inventory logs.
- Monitor and manage inventory ensuring timely food ordering, storage rotation and waste minimization practices.
- Lead the implementation of policy and procedural updates, particularly those related to food distribution schedules, voucher protocols and allowable items.
