Full Time. We will also consider a Physician Assistant with comparable experience for this position.
Location Details: On-site
Responsibilities- Take a leading role in patient management and assessment; act as liaison between radiologist and ordering provider
- Practice ALARA and advocate for patient safety
- Organize daily patient schedule (with multiple sites when necessary)
- Perform hospital fluoroscopy examinations and procedures under radiologist supervision
- Demonstrate critical thinking in emergency situations with critical patients
- Apply extensive protocol knowledge (adult and pediatric)
- Follow medication guidelines and protocols
- Assess and evaluate the physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient
- Evaluate image quality, make initial observations, and communicate findings to the supervising radiologist
- ARRT registered radiologic technologist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred
- Must have excellent working relationships with physicians, patients, and hospital staff
- Documentation of clinical experience and RPA/RRA competency
- Graduate of ARRT approved RRA program with current ARRT RRA certification or successful completion of an RPA program with current RPA registration with the CBRPA
- Current ACLS/BLS certification
- Meets current continuing education requirements to maintain ARRT/CBRPA certification
- Maintain values congruent with the Code of Ethics and adhere to national, institutional and/or departmental standards, policies and procedures regarding the standards of care for patients
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Compensation is between $110,000 and $160,000 annually contingent upon qualifications. Colorado law range provided is a reasonable base compensation estimate, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will accept applications on an ongoing basis, and will remain open until filled.
