We are looking for a SENIOR MANAGER OF COMMUNITY STRATEGY who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.
- Analyze internal eligibility/churn data, local and state data to coordinate with other COA leaders in a unified intervention strategy internally and with select community and state partners.
- Connects individuals to appropriate certified enrollment resources when needed
- Coordinate with Marketing/Communications and Member Experience to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns using COA’s community-based organization (CBO) network —including SMS, mail, and community-based events—to guide members through the Medicaid-to-Marketplace transition and ensure no gaps in healthcare coverage.
- Develop and manage the annual community events and sponsorship budget, overseeing procurement, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
- Collaborate with Marketing/Communications and Member Experience to create community-driven outreach strategies and storytelling that reflect impact and elevate partner visibility.
- Foster strategic relationships with culturally representative partners and social service agencies to improve resource navigation for Health First Colorado members.
- Participate in advisory councils, coalitions, and work groups to stay informed and align initiatives with local needs and trends.
- Maintain and enhance internal systems (Salesforce, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Google/Microsoft Forms) to streamline event planning, coordination, and data tracking.
- Develop standardized toolkits, templates, and evaluation processes to support consistent and effective community engagement practices. In addition, work with analytics staff members to ensure outcomes are measurable and tailored for dashboard reporting.
- Contributes significantly to the design and development of comprehensive, organizational strategies in the areas of community financial and relationship investment.
- Supports member retention strategies across CHP+, Medicaid, and the Marketplace products. Marketplace-related retention efforts will be developed in coordination with the Marketplace team and Compliance to ensure adherence to CMS marketing and broker requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health, nonprofit management is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in Medicaid/public services enrollment/Marketplace, community engagement, public health, social services, or a related field. Prior supervisory…
