Job Description & How to Apply Below

NDSCare is a multidisciplinary community-based service supporting children and adults with developmental, communication and complex care needs across Western Sydney.

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our growing team in a flexible community-based role. The position primarily involves supporting children with developmental and communication needs, with some adult participants requiring communication or swallowing support.

Our clinicians work collaboratively within a transdisciplinary model alongside nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, educators and Allied Health Assistants, allowing therapy programs to be supported across participants’ everyday environments.

This role is suited to a clinician who enjoys community-based practice and working closely with families, schools and multidisciplinary teams to support meaningful communication outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language assessments across paediatric and adult participants
  • Deliver therapy targeting articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication and functional communication skills
  • Support participants using AAC and other communication strategies where appropriate
  • Provide guidance and coaching to families, carers and support teams
  • Develop therapy plans and collaborate with Allied Health Assistants who support program implementation between clinician sessions
  • Prepare clear clinical reports including progress summaries and NDIS review documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case planning with other clinicians

This is a community-based position involving visits to homes, schools, childcare centres and other community settings.

The role offers a primarily paediatric caseload with some adult participants, providing a varied and meaningful scope of practice.

Why Join NDSCare
  • Flexible employment arrangements (casual, part-time or full-time)
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
  • Opportunities to build skills in community-based practice
  • A varied caseload supporting both children and adults
  • Administrative support to assist with scheduling and coordination

New graduates and early-career clinicians are encouraged to apply.
