Job Description
Join our clinical staff as an essential Aspire Allergy Medical Assistant and contribute to our mission of curing patients with allergy, asthma, and sinus problems. You will administer allergy tests and injections, provide exceptional support during in‑office procedures, and assist with front‑office administrative tasks to help us deliver an extraordinary patient experience from start to finish.

- Castle Rock: 4535 Milestone Lane, Suite B-C, Castle Rock, CO 80104
- Centennial: 19245 E Smoky Hill Road, Suite A, Centennial, CO 80015
Clinic Schedule &
Hours:
- Monday: 7:15 am – 5:30 pm (Centennial)
- Tuesday: 6:45 am – 5:00 pm (Castle Rock)
- Wednesday: 7:15 am – 5:30 pm (Centennial)
- Thursday: 6:45 am – 5:00 pm (Castle Rock)
- Escorting patients to the exam room; obtaining vitals, past/present medical history, and current medication list.
- Effectively communicating allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients.
- Administering subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular injections.
- Conducting thorough and accurate spirometry testing.
- Performing all testing and treatment in accordance with Aspire Allergy’s protocols and safety measures.
- Navigating the EHR system to record accurate patient health information.
- Serving patients & visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Assisting in answering incoming and outgoing phone calls and providing accurate information.
- Tracking clinical inventory and resupplying when needed.
- Ensuring all end‑of‑day reports and logs are accurate and complete.
- Following all HIPAA rules and regulations, including confidentiality of patient information.
- Adhering to Aspire Allergy’s safety measures and OSHA requirements, including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines.
- Willingness to be cross‑trained in a variety of front‑ and back‑office duties to provide full‑cycle clinic support.
- Front‑office duties (partial list):
- Becoming proficient in the practice management side of our electronic health record.
- Obtaining CT authorizations.
- Scanning patient documents and medical records and attaching them to charts.
- Checking patients in, including obtaining correct information such as demographics, PCP, contact and insurance information.
- Checking patients out, including taking payment.
- Communicating an out‑of‑pocket maximum for a patient.
- Sending end‑of‑day emails to appropriate parties.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Enrolling patients in treatment of choice.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Exceptional customer‑service skills.
- Effective, clear communication skills to exchange information with others.
- Ability to administer subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular injections.
- Ability to manually take patient vital signs.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in difficult or emergent situations.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and balance over prolonged periods, and to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer/keyboard at 50 wpm, calculator, telephone, copier, and fax.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle to travel between clinics.
Education and Experience
- Valid driver’s license.
Education and Experience
- Completed Medical Assistant Program or Degree.
- 1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant Experience.
- 1+ year(s) of Medical Receptionist Experience.
- Medical Assistant Certificate, vocational nurse license, or related experience.
- Current CPR Certification.
