Clinical Therapist, Per Diem

PRN Expectations: PRN Therapists are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per month. Primary responsibilities will include providing coverage for group therapy; however, there may be occasions when individual (1:1) session support is needed based on client needs and clinical presentation. Will work with the both the adult and adolescent population.
* Accepting applications from Associate and Independently Licensed Therapists. Please note that we are unable to provide clinical supervision for Associate Licensed Therapists in this per diem position.
Role SummaryThe Therapist willbe responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.
Guide light is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure.
- Conduct psychologicalandbiopsychosocialassessments and evaluations todetermineclients' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.
- Completes suicide risk assessment within identified time framesand with appropriate thoroughness and scoring while consulting with clinical leaders.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
- Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
- Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
- Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.
- Identify with Guide light Health's Mission,Visionand Values
- A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid Independent state licensurein the state applicable(Add appropriate acronyms)
- If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guide light's supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
- Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.
- Relevant PHP/IOP experience
- Group Facilitation experience
