Savio is hiring family therapists! Savio will pay for training for therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy for Problem Sexual Behaviors.
DescriptionMST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth 12-17 who are exhibiting delinquent-type behaviors such as running away, substance use, defiance, aggression, and truancy, and problem sexual behaviors. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families’ homes and in the community.
This position provides in-home services for the Denver metro area.

What does an MST therapist do?- Maintain a small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.
- Conduct therapy in the community, in families’ homes.
- Use the following theories: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
- Empower families to create lasting change
- Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
- Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.
- Professional development, including SOMB
- Are flexible and self-motivated.
- Gravitate towards action-oriented and solution-focused therapy.
- Recognize how social systems/ecology impact youth behavior.
- Have a passion for engaging parents struggling with teens’ behavioral issues.
- Are comfortable with in-home therapy.
- Enjoy a flexible and autonomous work schedule.

- Supervision towards licensure

Starting with candidacy (LPCC, SWC, MFTC): $58,660
Starting Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT): $61,660
Starting MA Bilingual: $63,660
** Supervision towards professional licenses provided in this role

RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:
- Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
- DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC
