Job Summary:

The Banquet Server provides food and beverage service in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner during banquet events. This role is focused on delivering high-quality service to ensure a positive experience for all guests attending dining and banquet functions.

• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure prompt drink orders.
• Present the menu, answer guest questions, and make food and beverage suggestions.
• Suggest wine selections where appropriate .
• Relayorderstothekitchenandbeverageservicespromptly.
• Observegueststofulfilladditionalrequestsandanticipatewhentheyhavecompletedtheirmeals.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Complete all assigned side work tasks during shifts.
• Maintainacleanandorganizedworkandstoragearea.
• Assistwithsettingup,cleaning,andrefreshingbanquetfunctionrooms.
• Attenddepartmentmeetingsandcompletetasksassignedbythe Banquet Manager .
• Followallsafetyandsanitationguidelines,includingreadingandunderstandingMSDS.

• Previousexperienceinbanquetorrestaurantservicepreferred.
• Strongcustomerserviceskillswiththeabilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithguests.
• Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironmentandhandlemultipletaskssimultaneously.
• Basicmathskillsforhandlingpaymentsandcalculatingcosts.

• Primarilyanindoorsenvironmentwithprotectionfromweatherconditions,thoughnotnecessarilyfromtemperaturechanges.
• Requiresstandingandwalkingforextendedperiodsduringevents.
• Frequentliftingandcarryingofupto
  20lbs.
• Mustbeavailabletoworkflexibleshifts,including nights,weekends,and holidays.
