* Job Summary:

** The Barback is responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar area, ensuring smooth and efficient service. This role includes replenishing supplies, preparing garnishes, and keeping the bar organized to enhance guest satisfaction.
** Essential Functions and Duties:
*** Assist bartenders by restocking all bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and glassware.
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and washing bar tools and equipment.
* Prepare garnishes and ensure they are fresh and readily available for bartenders.
* Keep ice bins stocked and assist with beverage preparation during peak hours.
* Remove and dispose of trash and empty bottles as needed throughout the shift.
* Ensure all beverage storage areas are well-organized and properly stocked.
* Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar for service.
* Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the Bar Manager or Supervisor.
* Respond to bartender requests quickly and efficiently to ensure uninterrupted service.

Skills:

*** Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.
** Work Environment:
*** Primarily an indoor role with exposure to a fast-paced bar environment.
* Frequent standing and walking required throughout the shift.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks, such as stocking and cleaning.
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
