Host — Soda Club Denver
The Ramble Hotel
· Ri No
Soda Club is hiring a host to join our Denver team. Located inside The Ramble Hotel, we bring together handmade pasta, Roman-style pinsa, natural wine, and cocktails in a room built for a good night out.
We’re looking for someone who understands that hospitality starts before a guest reaches the table. A warm welcome, a thoughtful seating decision, and a little confidence at a busy door can shape the entire evening. You’re personable, organized, and able to keep track of the details without losing sight of the people standing in front of you.
About the role
You’ll manage reservations and walk-ins, maintain an accurate floor plan and waitlist, and guide guests from their first hello to their seats. You’ll work closely with the floor manager and service team to pace arrivals, communicate guest needs, and distribute seating thoughtfully.
The door requires equal parts warmth and judgment. You should be comfortable quoting realistic wait times, explaining seating options, and handling changing plans with patience and tact. When several parties arrive at once, you know how to acknowledge everyone, stay composed, and make each guest feel expected rather than in the way.
We’re looking for someone who pays attention to the whole room—not just the reservation screen—and takes pride in helping the team deliver a smooth service.
Who we’re looking for
Previous hosting or guest-facing hospitality experience is preferred. Familiarity with Seven Rooms or Resy is a plus, but strong communication, attention to detail, and a genuine instinct for taking care of people matter most.
You should be dependable, receptive to feedback, and comfortable making decisions while knowing when to involve a manager. An interest in food, wine, and restaurants is welcome; you don’t need to be an expert to make someone feel at home.
Evening and weekend availability is required.
