Our client, an Am Law 50 law firm, is seeking an associate with 3-4 years of labor and employment experience to join its Labor & Employment Group in its Denver office. The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 - $310,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
- Admission to the Colorado bar
- 3-4 years of Colorado-based labor and employment experience
- Strong academic background (JD GPA) with excellent writing skills
- Experience with defense of claims pending before state and federal courts, union management relations; reductions in force, employment contracts negotiations and policies and employee benefits programs
- Experience counseling Human Resource managers and supervisors regarding employee matters and compliance issues
- Excellent working knowledge of Colorado and federal employment statutes and regulations
- A plus:
Substantial hearing and deposition experience and experience in labor & employment collective and class actions are both considered a plus
