We are seeking an experienced, people-focused HR Administrator to support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and office administration. This role serves as a knowledgeable first-line resource for supervisors and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, workplace practices, and day-to-day office operations, while escalating complex or sensitive matters to the HR Manager. The ideal candidate enjoys being a trusted partner to employees and leaders alike and plays an active role in supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in processing Onboarding/Offboarding of employees including assisting with Uniform orders
- Support with bi-weekly payroll by preparing payroll file for Payroll Manager to process
- Benefits support by assisting with benefit enrollment and answering related employee questions
- Assist in ensuring adherence to labor laws and internal policies
- Manage and track workers compensation claims
- Manage and maintain birthday, anniversary, and employee of the month notices and gifts
- Update and maintain the time-off calendar and quarterly reporting
- Assist with office admin tasks:
Ordering/Restocking of office items, manage Fed Ex shipping account, other office admin support - Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of HR Administration experience or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build relationships
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships with a support-minded approach
- Self?starter comfortable working in an environment with evolving roles and responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
