Job Responsibilities:
- Handle weekly office salary payroll and weekly field payroll.
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees and manage offboarding processes.
- Collaborate with department managers regarding payroll changes (e.g., terminations, new hires).
- Process various financial compensations and deductions (e.g., annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, worker's compensation).
- Administer office employee benefit enrollments.
- Generate certified payroll reports as needed.
- Oversee 401k contributions and handle employee garnishments.
- Manage weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes.
- Collaborate with various agencies for requested audits.
- Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with payroll processes.
- Experience handling union payroll.
- Knowledge of Sage 300 & Procore is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel (including functions and data manipulation).
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
