Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Leaves and Accommodations Administrator to join a respected healthcare organization based in Denver, CO. This position plays a vital role in administering employee benefits and managing leave of absence programs with accuracy, empathy, and attention to detail.
This will be a 6 month contract position.
- Title: Leaves and Accommodations Administrator
- Location: Fully Remote
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, regular business hours
- Pay: $37.21 - $46.54 per hour
This position is responsible for overseeing and administering all company benefit programs—including health, life, and disability insurance—as well as managing employee leaves of absence and accommodations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits administration, leave laws, and a commitment to providing exceptional employee support.
Key Responsibilities Benefits Administration (Approx. 50%)- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as 401(k) plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries via phone and email.
- Coordinate the initiation, changes, and termination of employee benefits.
- Manage open enrollment processes and benefit plan transfers.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Implement new benefit programs and facilitate employee information sessions.
- Resolve benefit claims and issues with carriers.
- Reconcile monthly carrier invoices and manage vendor file feeds.
- Maintain benefit data and reporting within HRIS systems.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators to ensure accurate leave management.
- Assist employees with understanding their leave entitlements, documentation, and procedures.
- Coordinate with managers and HR to maintain staffing coverage during absences.
- Partner with legal and HR Business Partners to resolve complex or high-conflict claims.
- Notify payroll regarding leave start and end dates to ensure accurate pay.
- Maintain electronic files and tracking systems for all leave programs.
- Facilitate Worker’s Compensation, FMLA, and related leave programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state leave laws while maintaining confidentiality.
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Healthcare/Medical benefits administration, leave of absence management, or related HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of group insurance products, leave laws, and HR compliance.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Occasional travel may be required, including potential overnight trips.
