The hiring range is $65,952.15 - $73,280.17 Annually

The City is seeking a Benefits Coordinator who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and creating positive employee experiences. In this highly visible and employee-facing role, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees navigating their benefits, helping them understand their options, answering questions, resolving concerns, and connecting them with the resources they need. From welcoming new employees during orientation to providing ongoing support through life events and annual enrollment, you will have an opportunity to make benefits easier to understand and more accessible to employees across the organization.
Working closely with the Benefits and Leave Manager, you will also help keep the City's benefits and wellness programs moving forward behind the scenes. You will coordinate benefit enrollments and changes, partner with vendors, maintain accurate information across HR and benefit systems, develop employee communications, and support regulatory reporting and administrative processes. You will also play an active role in the City's wellness initiatives by coordinating events, facilitating wellness activities, tracking incentives, and helping bring the annual Benefits and Wellness Fair to life.

High school diploma or GED. A minimum of three years of administrative support experience. Demonstrated competence with customer service and Microsoft Office applications, and experience with HRIS systems are required.
An equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
