Family office is looking to add an HR Associate or HR Manager to lead our HR function. We're open to hiring at either level the title, scope, and offer will be matched to the experience you bring, so whether you're a few years into your HR career or a seasoned generalist ready to run the whole function, we want to hear from you.
Aboutthe Role
This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role. You'll report directly to our Director of Operations and be the go‑to HR resource for our organization, including a team of roughly 30 office, household, and facilities staff across full‑time and part‑time positions.
Responsibilities- Lead benefits administration and compensation analysis, including periodic market benchmarking to keep us competitive
- Develop and maintain SOPs, personnel files, and other core HR documentation
- Own and continuously update our Employee Handbook
- Design and run onboarding HR touchpoints so every new hire has a strong start
- Manage recruiting end‑to‑end: actively sourcing candidates and partnering closely with outside recruiters on open roles
- Keep recruiting running as an ongoing, always‑on function rather than a project‑by‑project effort
- Serve as the go‑to HR partner across the organization for policy, compliance, and employee relations questions
- Provide HR support to our office staff as well as household and facilities staff (~30 FT and PT employees)
- Coordinate and administer annual performance reviews
- A well‑rounded HR background covering compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee relations
- Demonstrated recruiting experience, including sourcing candidates and managing relationships with external recruiters
- Strong written communication skills: you'll be writing and maintaining policies, handbooks, and SOPs
- Comfort supporting a mixed team spanning office, household, and facilities staff
- A self‑directed, organized approach: you can manage recruiting and HR operations without heavy oversight
- HR certification (SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP or PHR/SPHR) is a major plus
- HR Associate: 1–7 years of experience | $70,000–$90,000
- HR Manager: 7–10+ years of experience | $90,000–$130,000 (Posted range reflects both levels, your offer will be set based on the experience you bring.)

- Reports To: Director of Operations
