The IT Field Support Technician is a full-time, on-site member of the IT team, reporting directly to the IT Service Manager. Located in the Denver office, this role provides high‑touch, white glove support for employees and executives across the Denver and Phoenix locations. The position is responsible for delivering exceptional end-user support, maintaining IT infrastructure and asset accuracy, and ensuring data consistency across multiple enterprise systems.

The IT Support Specialist is a key member of our collaborative IT team, providing high-touch, white glove support for employees in the Denver and Phoenix offices. This role ensures seamless IT service management, data integrity, and infrastructure support, while maintaining accurate assets and user data across systems. The position also supports onboarding, device deployment, conference room maintenance, and knowledge base creation, leveraging scripting skills for automation and efficiency.
- System Support and Maintenance
- Provide high-touch, personalized support for employees and executives in Denver and for remote locations
- Set up and maintain PCs and peripherals with attention to company standards, user preferences, and business needs
- Coordinate user onboarding/offboarding, hardware refreshes, and desk setups
- Administer and optimize ITSM workflows for incident, request, change, and asset management
- Cleanse and standardize user and asset data across our ITSM tool, Active Directory, and Entra
- Align IT data with HR records from Workday to ensure consistency in identity and access management
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to user roles, group memberships, and access permissions based on HR data
- Support CMDB accuracy and asset relationships within our systems
- Document data flows and normalization rules to support operational transparency
- Conduct regular software audits using our ITSM asset data
- Help track license entitlements, usage, and renewals for key applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom, Adobe)
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through license optimization and reallocation
- Ensure devices are properly tracked in our ITSM system and secured according to company policy
- Assist with level 2 technical support for all computing, peripheral, network, and system issues via ticketing system
- Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software
- Collaborate with off-site shared services team and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule
- Lead IT portions of new hire onboarding orientations, ensuring users are equipped and informed
- Create and maintain internal KB articles for common issues, procedures, and onboarding guides
- Ensure documentation is clear, up-to-date, and accessible to both IT staff and end users
- Maintain and support AV equipment, conferencing tools, and connectivity in meeting rooms
- A degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience installing and supporting desktop computers and peripherals, both Windows and MAC workstations
- Solid foundation in operating systems, hardware components, system integrations, and troubleshooting techniques
- Robust knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams platform
- Experience with ITSM Tools (preferably Fresh service), Active Directory, Entra , and Workday
