Data Analyst, Data Science Manager

Leads and manages data systems and programs across the department, serving as the subject matter expert supporting five teams and 60+ staff. This role is key in managing data, reporting, and partnerships to advance program outcomes district-wide, ensuring accessible and usable data to inform strategic decisions and enhance family and community programs.

- Lead the design, management, analysis, auditing, and reporting of the department and District Infinite Campus student/parent program data, supporting department and district-wide initiatives
- Serve as the Salesforce administrator and primary liaison with Elevation Solutions, overseeing family/community data systems and driving data integrity, migrations, and advanced reporting (dashboards, scorecards, infographics)
- Manage key external partnerships including Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC), DPS Solar Garden programs, and Salesforce partners, acting as a subject matter expert and relationship builder to strengthen collaborations
- Oversee data collection, system usage, quality control, governance, and compliance for staff and community partners; present data outcomes to leadership and grant partners
- Lead technical support, training, and capacity building for teams on data analysis, reporting tools, Salesforce databases, and best practices to enhance department-wide data literacy
- Collaborate with leadership to support family services programs through system oversight, staff training, and program evaluation to improve partnerships and service delivery
- Facilitate cross-team alignment by leading regular meetings to monitor data/system progress, reporting, storage, and strategic goal integration with district roadmaps
- Lead planning and implementation of new initiatives and systems, ensuring broad stakeholder buy-in and addressing complex business challenges with root cause analysis and sustainable solutions
- Manage comprehensive documentation including data, process, system, and grant compliance records, ensuring clarity and accessibility through advanced technical writing
- Support vendor negotiations and manage work performed by external contractors related to data, systems, reporting, and program management; develop professional development opportunities for data systems users
- Bachelors degree required (Computer Science or Computer Information Systems degree preferred)
- 5 or more years of experience working directly with relational databases, system administration, data querying/analysis/reporting and data system import/export functionality
- Experience in K-12 education preferred
- Strong background in MS Excel, MS Access and Google Suite, SQL, R, SPSS, SAS, and Stata
- Proficiency in reporting tools using MS Access, MS Excel, Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Excel Services, or similar
- Effective communication skills and time management
- Strong background in data manipulation, data/business analysis, reporting, and administering systems/databases
