Entry-Level Data Analyst / Data Operations and Engineering (Part-Time)

Hours:

~10 hrs/week (flexible)

• Collecting and organizing data from multiple public sources
• Building and maintaining structured datasets (mostly tabular data)
• Working with open data and mapping data (including Open Street Map )
• Verifying accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data
• Spotting inefficiencies and suggesting process improvements
• Helping implement automated processes/ scripts
• Using AI tools to speed up research, validation, or cleanup tasks

• Is comfortable working with spreadsheets or tables for extended periods
• Has strong attention to detail and can stay focused on repetitive tasks
• Enjoys turning messy information into clean, usable data
• Is curious about how data systems are built
• Can work independently and communicate clearly

• Any data-related experience (data entry, analytics, GIS, research, etc.)
• Familiarity with Open Street Map  or open datasets
• Basic scripting (Python, SQL, or similar)
• Experience pulling data from multiple sources
• Comfort using AI tools as part of a workflow

• This is a minimum-wage, part-time position
