Overview

Computronix, a software engineering and implementation consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager who can assist us in continuing to deliver outstanding business solutions to our clients. Since 1979, Computronix has successfully created win‑win relationships with Government clients throughout North America.

As a Sr. Project Manager you will
  • Plan, execute, and deliver high-quality software projects that solve real business needs
  • Interact with clients from project startup through implementation and warranty
  • Negotiate with clients various related change requests, additional funding, and schedule changes
  • Deliver projects on schedule and on budget
  • Manage multiple fixed‑price projects $200K to $5M in size
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, budgets, and charters
  • Work with a team to create innovative solutions when dealing with difficult situations
  • Interact with the project technical lead to drive the project team and interact daily with development team members to ensure task completion
  • Work in a culture that respects peers, team members, and clients
As a Sr. Project Manager you will have
  • 7+ years’ experience leading software development projects, preferably in a software consulting company
  • PMP Certification or working towards acquiring the certification
  • Possess knowledge of project management disciplines (e.g., PMBOK, Schedule, Scope, Quality, HR, Communications, Risk, Change Management, etc.)
  • Be able to create and manage project schedules of various levels of complexity
  • Have experience with Agile (Scrum), waterfall, and/or other PM methodologies
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage technical team members in a matrix organization
  • Measure project progress and success factors with respect to cost, schedule, and quality
