We’re growing our platform engineering team to design and operate secure, scalable AWS foundations that power enterprise B2B data exchange.
This is true platform engineering work — not ETL or analytics. You’ll build reusable cloud patterns, implement secure cross-account access models, and deliver automated infrastructure that enables internal teams and external partners to exchange data reliably and compliantly.
If you enjoy building cloud platforms from the ground up, solving complex AWS security challenges, and creating infrastructure that other teams depend on, this role is for you.
What You’ll Work On Build Secure AWS FoundationsDesign and implement standardized partner data exchange patterns (SFTP, AS2, API-based integrations) using services such as:
- AWS Transfer Family
- API Gateway
- Private Link
- Cross-account S3
- Event Bridge
- Managed MFT/EDI solutions
- Build reusable Terraform modules
- Contribute to “golden patterns” and deployment templates
- Support Git-based CI/CD and Git Ops workflows
- Design least-privilege IAM models (RBAC/ABAC)
- Implement cross-account access controls
- Apply encryption in transit and at rest (TLS/KMS)
- Manage secrets and partner credential lifecycle
- Support data governance with Lake Formation and schema controls
- Implement monitoring with Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and Config
- Contribute to structured logging, metrics, and tracing
- Help define SLOs, alerts, and operational runbooks
- Support incident response and continuous improvement
Partner with Architecture, Security, IAM, and Data Engineering teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
What You’ll Bring Must-Haves- Strong AWS platform experience across services such as:
- S3, IAM, KMS, VPC/Private Link, Transfer Family, API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue/Lake Formation
- (Exposure to Kinesis/MSK and Redshift or Snowflake on AWS is a plus.)
- Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform preferred; Cloud Formation acceptable)
- Strong Git-based workflows with disciplined PR/review habits
- Security-first mindset with experience in cross-account architecture
- Observability and operational experience (monitoring, alerting, incident handling)
- Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
- Managed file transfer and EDI integrations at scale
- AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and SCP enforcement
- Data contracts and schema governance experience
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR/CCPA)
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops, Security)
This is a hands‑on role focused on building and operating AWS infrastructure that enables secure, enterprise-scale data exchange.
