JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Lead A/V Technician for an opportunity based in Denver, CO. This role will lead commercial audiovisual installations, ensuring high-quality execution across audio, video, and network-integrated systems. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on integration experience, deep knowledge of commercial A/V technologies, and the ability to lead installations from setup through client training. This position requires a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in both team‑based and independent work environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead commercial A/V installations including audio, video, and networked systems
- Install, configure, and fine‑tune audiovisual equipment including cameras, projectors, and control systems
- Perform structured cable management and termination (CAT6, XLR, and related cabling)
- Install and support hardware including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and QSC components
- Support DSP configuration and system functionality (Biamp, QSC, etc.)
- Collaborate with remote programmers to ensure seamless system integration
- Apply networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, and router configuration
- Conduct system testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and end‑user training
- Ensure projects are completed according to scope, checklist, and quality standards
- 3+ years of commercial Audio/Video integration experience
- Hands‑on experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, and related A/V technologies
- Experience with control and configuration tools such as Crestron Toolbox, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, and Shure software
- Strong understanding of DSP functionality and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routers)
- CTS or CTS-I Certification strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, time management, and customer service skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
