Role Summary

The Analyst, IT Risk & Audit supports DaVita’s cybersecurity risk management program by assessing technology risks, evaluating control effectiveness, and supporting audit and governance activities. This role partners closely with IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Audit teams to help ensure cyber risks are identified, documented, mitigated, and communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, cloud services, and third parties.
  • Evaluate security control design and operating effectiveness against internal standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Support audit activities by collecting evidence, responding to inquiries, and tracking remediation of findings and MAPs.
  • Manage cybersecurity risk exceptions, including documentation, approvals, renewals, and monitoring of compensating controls.
  • Maintain risk registers, assessment documentation, and metrics used for leadership reporting and governance forums.
  • Partner with IT and Security teams to assess risk associated with new initiatives, changes, incidents, and vendor engagements.
  • Monitor emerging cyber risks and contribute to continuous improvement of risk and audit processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in IT risk, cybersecurity, audit, compliance, or related roles.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, controls, and regulatory considerations (HIPAA preferred).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.
