Remote role. Must be based in the Denver, CO area to accommodate the 1–2 week per quarter onsite requirement in Greenwood Village.
We are seeking a seasoned, dedicated UX Researcher who thrives at the intersection of human behavior and product strategy. This is a pure research and strategy role—ideal for a specialist who is passionate about uncovering deep user insights and has no desire to pivot into UI/UX design.
You will act as a strategic partner to our product teams, functioning with a high degree of autonomy to lead end-to-end research initiatives. Beyond execution, you will serve as a UX Evangelist, teaching stakeholders the value of research and translating complex data into actionable business strategies.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $50-60/hr. w2
Responsibilities- End-to-End Research:
Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of multi-method research studies, including usability testing, surveys, and in-depth interviews. - Strategic Influence:
Translate research findings into high-level strategy and present insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Evangelism:
Actively promote a research-first culture, educating cross-functional partners on methodologies and the ROI of user insights. - Mixed Methods:
Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to provide a holistic view of the user experience for client-facing products. - Autonomy:
Manage project timelines, recruitment, and stakeholder expectations independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Dedicated UX Researcher. (Candidates with a Generalist or UX Designer background will not be considered) - Methodology:
Expert proficiency in usability testing, survey design, and interviewing techniques. - Client-Facing Product Focus:
Proven track record of conducting research for external-facing, consumer, or B2B products. - Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to manage complex stakeholder personalities and sell the value of research. - Organizational Mastery:
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Consulting Background:
Experience working within a top-tier consultancy (e.g., Slalom, McKinsey, etc.) is a significant plus. - In-Person Testing:
Experience conducting in-person interviews or lab-based usability testing.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a computer-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Portfolio: A link to a true website portfolio is required. We cannot accept Word documents or PDF portfolios. Your portfolio must demonstrate clear research case studies, methodologies used, and the business impact of your findings.
