We are seeking a customer‑focused and technically capable individual for our Tier 1 Technical Support / Order Entry Specialist role. Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, this frontline position is critical to delivering exceptional customer experience, driving satisfaction, and supporting revenue growth.
This is a dynamic, hands‑on technical support role requiring mechanical aptitude, strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Office), and excellent phone/email communication abilities. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment with constant customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service with genuine passion—helping resolve billing issues, track orders, explain product functions, and address any needs to ensure customers can fully use and enjoy our systems.
- Perform initial troubleshooting over the phone or email.
- Collect call details and accurately enter information into our CRM database.
- Process parts and product orders efficiently.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Excel at time management and prioritization in a multi-tasking environment (toggling screens, managing to-do lists, and engaging with diverse customers daily).
- De-escalate challenging situations using tailored communication strategies.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in knowing when to elevate issues for assistance.
- Maintain a confident, can-do attitude and eagerness to tackle and exceed challenges.
- 1–2 years of phone and/or email customer service experience.
- 1+ year of hands‑on technical/mechanical experience (personal or professional).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with CRM software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
- Experience with automotive/RV HVAC, climate control, hydronic heating, or diesel/propane appliances.
- Familiarity with RV industry standards, OEM integration, or vehicle electrical/architectural layouts.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., emissions or safety standards for mobile applications).
- Previous role in customer-facing technical support or applications engineering.
- Competitive hourly pay: $20–$24 (based on experience, skills, and education).
