Overview / Position Summary

The Learning Management System (LMS) Program Assistant II is a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented technology professional who supports the administration, maintenance, and ongoing development of GMR's Learning Management System. This role plays a key part in managing training curricula, supporting LMS operations, and developing eLearning content, including SCORM and other learning packages.

The LMS Program Assistant II works collaboratively within a shared services model to support internal stakeholders, field operations, and compliance requirements through accurate training administration, reporting, and technical support.

Duties / Responsibilities

LMS Administration & Training Support

  • Build and maintain training curricula within the LMS.
  • Support day‑to‑day LMS administration with a focus on events, sessions, and assignment of training.
  • Verify learner transcripts for accuracy to ensure appropriate training delivery.
  • Build and maintain user profiles for contractors in the LMS.
  • Maintain all aspects of events and sessions managed in Cornerstone.

Develop and Maintain eLearning Courses

  • Build online training courses using course authoring software and established eLearning templates.
  • Assist with course content review and archival processes.
  • Maintain databases of active and inactive courses.
  • Publish, upload, test, deploy, and maintain eLearning content in multiple formats, including AICC and SCORM.

Day‑to‑Day LMS Administration & Business Support

  • Respond timely and proactively to requests for course assignments, training status, reports, and general LMS support.
  • Support a shared service delivery model with a strong customer service mindset.

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Support stakeholders and field locations with LMS reporting and data analysis.
  • Build LMS reports and organize data into meaningful insights using tables and pivot tables.
  • Respond to requests for employee training status, audits, and general administration inquiries.
  • Provide reporting and analytics support for SOC2 audits as requested.

Technical Support

  • Resolve daily help desk tickets.
  • Support end users by researching and resolving access issues and system or course functionality concerns.
Qualifications Education
  • Associate's degree in an IT or Business field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as an LMS Administrator.
  • Experience with Cornerstone LMS, including core, learning, and/or performance modules preferred.
  • Experience developing eLearning courses using authoring tools such as iSpring and Articulate preferred.
Skills
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Highly technology‑literate with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Positive, proactive approach when supporting end users and internal customers.
