The Project Manager AI is responsible for leading and overseeing artificial intelligence (AI) projects from conception to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder communications. The Project Manager AI bridges the gap between technical teams and business objectives, leveraging agile methodologies and best practices to drive innovation and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, software developers, and business analysts.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects adhere to AI ethics, compliance, and data security standards.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for AI project tasks.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, technical teams, and executives.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the deployment, testing, and maintenance of AI solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
    • Proven experience managing AI, machine learning, or data science projects.
    • Strong understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and development life cycles.
    • Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
    • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms.
    • Familiarity with AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
    Preferred Skills
    • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner).
    • Hands-on experience with AI development tools and platforms (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Azure AI, AWS AI).
    • Knowledge of software engineering practices and cloud computing environments.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
    Work Environment
