• Oracle PL/SQL Development
• Strong technical & communication skills
• Experience with triggers, stored procedures, packages
• Database requirement gathering, design, build, test, implementation
• Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting
• SQL Server RDBMS, SQL, Transact‑SQL (highly desirable)
• ERWIN experience (plus)

• Work with Oracle Database Developers on design, development, and implementation of Oracle applications
• Collaborate with application project teams to size database efforts, design appropriate database access, and meet user performance expectations
• Gather, document database requirements, design, build, test, and implement database functionality for different types of applications
• Provide specifications and oversight for junior team members
• Support Schwab Charitable Foundations Group in database development
• Support QA team with data‑driven requests
• Work with Configuration Management to migrate work through project stages and environments

• Minimum 6 years experience as an application DBA / Database Developer
• Well‑versed in database development, database interfaces, data analysis, and performance tuning (especially SQL tuning)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and utilize them quickly
