Job Title: SAP Compliance Analyst III
Location: Denver CO (Travel Required 25–50%)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Compensation: $65–70/HR
Work Model: Hybrid with 2 remote days (Full-time onsite during travel weeks)
The SAP Compliance Analyst III will support the Transformation Project Office initiative focused on the Customer Information System (CIS). This role is responsible for regulatory deliverables related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and ensuring General Information Technology Controls (GITC) are properly identified, designed, validated, and aligned prior to Production deployment.
The analyst will work closely with capital project teams to assess system blueprints, identify relevant GITC requirements, and associate those requirements to applicable SOX controls to support planning, execution, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:- Support regulatory compliance deliverables within the CIS Transformation Project Office initiative
- Identify, design, and validate General IT Controls (GITC) in alignment with SOX requirements
- Perform consultative review of capital project blueprints to determine applicable control requirements
- Partner with stakeholders to associate GITC requirements to SOX controls
- Ensure regulatory controls are validated prior to Production release
- Analyze, document, and communicate compliance findings and control design requirements
- Provide training and handoff documentation to applicable stakeholders
- Support planning and continued compliance delivery throughout the project lifecycle
- Work in a collaborative team environment with individual contributor deliverables
- Hybrid model (collocation required at times)
- Standard business hours
- 25–50% travel required
- 5+ years of experience in Utilities/Construction supporting compliance, SOX, or GITC internal controls
- Experience identifying, designing, and validating IT General Controls
- Hands-on experience with SAP CIS
- Experience with SailPoint IIQ (or equivalent identity governance tool)
- Experience with Cyber Ark (or equivalent privileged access management tool)
- Experience with cloud-based identity and change management controls
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to train and transition deliverables to applicable business owners
Skills:
- CISA certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience supporting regulatory deliverables within large capital transformation initiatives
- Utility or regulated industry experience
