TL;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines using modern orchestration and processing frameworks.
- Architect and implement scalable, resilient data infrastructure and systems to support analytics, intelligence, and product use cases - ensuring they align with Kharon’s vision and mission.
- Define and champion best practices in data modeling, ETL, data governance, and system design..
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure data architecture aligns with strategic goals and operational needs.
- Lead the adoption and integration of LLM-related tooling and vector databases into Kharon’s data platform.
- Mentor engineers in data engineering principles, architecture design, and technical decision-making.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the data stack.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with 2+ years in a senior or staff-level technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in building scalable data architectures and distributed data systems.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and fostering professional growth among engineers.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with pipeline frameworks like Airflow, Spark, or Databricks.
- Strong background in data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Clickhouse, or Athena.
- Experience with LLM tools and vector databases (e.g., Langchain, FAISS, Pinecone) is a plus.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
