Job Summary

Our client is seeking a QA Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Denver, Colorado.

Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools and languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
Implement automated tests to cover functional, regression, and performance scenarios.
Create and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
Validate software applications against functional and performance expectations.
Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug-tracking system.
Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Analyze test results and provide clear, concise quality reports for stakeholders.
Track and report on quality metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts.
Partner with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on quality goals.
Participate in design reviews and requirement analysis meetings to provide QA input.
Recommend and implement improvements to existing testing practices and methodologies.
Stay up to date with QA trends, tools, and best practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test cases, plans, and scripts.
Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
Use automation to streamline repetitive tasks, especially regression testing.

Desired Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation
  • Hands‑on experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Exposure to both manual and automated testing across the SDLC
  • Experience working in agile development environments with cross‑functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile software development methodologies
