As a Defense Mission Expert, you will bring advanced operational leadership and technical expertise. In this role, you will help shape, sustain, and enhance enterprise‑level situational awareness capabilities that enable crisis response, homeland defense, and national‑level mission execution. You will work at the intersection of technology, operations, and mission integration—supporting deployable device management, TAK/Sit(x) enterprise services, data routing architectures, and the broader ecosystem of tools that underpin the Command’s operational picture.

As a senior mission expert, you will guide cross‑functional teams, assist government stakeholders in translating mission needs into actionable solutions, and help ensure that systems remain reliable, secure, and ready to support real‑world operations. You will apply your technical proficiency, operational planning acumen, and the ability to collaborate across regions, components, interagency partners, and multinational forces. Your contributions will directly support the command’s ability to maintain near‑real‑time tracking, situational awareness, and emergency reporting across a vast area of responsibility — advancing readiness and strengthening the resilience of homeland defense.

• 8+ years of experience supporting DoD operational systems, mobility programs, mission systems, or security operations
• Experience with TAK, ATAK, or situational awareness ecosystems
• Experience supporting deployable equipment or emergency‑response systems
• Experience administering device tracking or security databases
• Experience producing SOPs, technical documentation, or operational guides
• Knowledge of MDM ecosystems and mobile security compliance
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience supporting NORAD and USNORTHCOM, Homeland Security, or Joint operational missions
• Experience in crisis response, emergency management, border operations, or homeland security
• Experience training military, interagency, or multinational partners
• Knowledge of FFT architectures, DoD Gateway routing, and enterprise SA systems
• Knowledge of GIS/SA tools such as TAK, ITAK, ATAK or ARC‑GIS
• Ability to develop and deliver executive-level briefings in dynamic environments
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Master’s degree in IT, strategy, planning, operations, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
