Tallgrass Energy Partners IT is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst II to assist with building, enhancing, and supporting the Enterprise Modern SharePoint architecture and document management ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, and Power Platform. This role focuses on delivering governed, scalable collaboration and content solutions through information architecture design, content type and metadata management, SharePoint library builds, and records retention file plan implementation (retention labels/records classification).

The position also supports file share-to-SharePoint migrations using modern information architecture standards and assists with ongoing optimization and compliance. The incumbent will partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical designs and configurations, develop and maintain Power Automate/Power Apps solutions and Power Shell automations, and execute solutions through the full lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, deploy, document, train, and support).

This role serves as a liaison between IT and functional teams, producing clear technical documentation and ensuring delivered solutions align with business strategies, governance, and audit/compliance needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support and build the Enterprise Modern SharePoint Architecture ensuring scalable information architecture, governance‑aligned site designs, security, and a consistent user experience.
  • Govern and manage Microsoft Teams and One Drive environments in accordance with established Information Governance policies, standards, and controls to meet compliance and business needs. Support Document Management design and operations, including creation and ongoing maintenance of Content Types, metadata/site columns, managed metadata, library standards (versioning, approvals, views), document templates, and lifecycle practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint libraries to align with Tallgrass records retention requirements and file plan, including retention labels/records classification, mapping content to retention rules, and ensuring consistent application through library configuration, metadata, and automation.
  • Plan and execute migrations from file shares to Modern SharePoint, including discovery and clean‑up, mapping folder structures to libraries, content types, metadata, and retention labels, and validating content integrity, permissions, and compliance outcomes using tools such as Share Gate.
  • Build and maintain Power Shell scripts and automations to support SharePoint/Microsoft 365 administration, provisioning, bulk updates, reporting, and governance enforcement; create repeatable technical documentation for operational support.
  • In partnership with the manager/product owner and business stakeholders, deliver end‑to‑end Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, and related services) to automate document‑centric business processes (intake, routing, review/approval, publishing, retention/records handling, audit evidence collection, notifications, and escalations), integrating with SharePoint and connected M365 services as needed.
  • Perform Business Analysis by engaging functional user groups to gather and interpret requirements, translate needs into technical designs, and implement solutions for bolt‑on applications, integrations/interfaces, reporting, and data collection supporting internal and external audit requests.
  • Execute the full solution lifecycle: build, test, deploy, and stabilize releases; coordinate UAT, manage timelines and deadlines, monitor performance after implementation, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, solution designs, workflow/process documentation, configuration standards, script documentation, and operational procedures) and develop end‑user documentation covering installation, usage, and support procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end users and stakeholders; deliver clear communications, troubleshoot issues with professionalism and tact, and provide technical assistance across supported platforms.
