Associate Director, CDP & Data Activation Company Overview
The role sits within a consulting and customer strategy firm focused on helping consumer brands improve CRM, personalization, customer data infrastructure, and digital customer experiences.
The company partners closely with ecommerce, retail, travel, and lifestyle brands on customer data platform initiatives, analytics, and marketing technology transformation work.
Role OverviewSenior client-facing role focused on CDP strategy, customer data activation, and composable Mar Tech ecosystems.
The team is looking for someone who can stay hands‑on technically while advising enterprise clients on platform architecture, activation strategy, and customer data infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Lead customer data activation and composable CDP initiatives across enterprise clients
- Advise clients on CDP architecture, platform selection, and implementation strategy
- Support personalization, lifecycle marketing, CRM, and customer journey initiatives
- Drive activation strategy across Adobe Real-Time CDP, Segment, mParticle, Hightouch, Census, and Rudder Stack
- Partner closely with engineering, analytics, and marketing teams
- Present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Help shape broader Mar Tech and customer engagement strategy initiatives
- Hands‑on experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP, Segment, or mParticle
- Strong understanding of composable architecture and customer data ecosystems
Experience with activation tools like Hightouch, Census, or Rudder Stack Experience working in agency, consultancy, or client‑facing environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have Skills- Snowflake or Big Query experience
- AI or agentic workflow exposure
- Lifecycle marketing or CRM strategy experience
- People leadership or mentorship experience
- Base salary between $140k and $160k
- Potential flexibility above range for exceptional candidates
- Strong preference for candidates based in Denver
- Also open to San Diego or remote US candidates
- Hybrid expectation if local to office: 2 days onsite
- Light client travel throughout the year
