Wireless Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the WiFi SME and mentor for a team of 8–10 wireless engineers.
• Oversee the introduction of code and config changes into the live production network.
• Review and approve wireless and network designs for performance and compatibility.
• Lead the rollout strategy and impact evaluation for major network changes.
• Drive standardization and best practices across the wireless operations lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Layers 1–7 (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Transport).
• Maintain network integrity through observability tooling (Grafana, Splunk, Netscout) and rigorous documentation.

• Experience with either Ruckus, Aruba or Cisco APs and controller‑based (vendor‑agnostic) environments.
• Should have worked on Carrier/ISP operations and/or high‑scale deployments, including IGP/eBGP routing and broadband edge.
• Proficiency with Linux‑based backend systems (AAA servers) and CLI operations.
• 1 years working with CI/CD pipelines, virtualized controllers, and automation (Ansible or Python).
• Proven ability to make high‑level decisions on network integrity and code releases.
• Deep OSI model knowledge and packet‑flow analysis (DNS, DHCP, IPv6).
• Familiarity with Load Balancing/GSLB (A10, Anycast).

• Industry and vendor‑specific certifications preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel‑Lucent, etc.)
