About The Role
The Data Analyst role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence through rigorous statistical analysis and robust dashboarding. This position sits at the intersection of business operations and technical data infrastructure, ensuring that stakeholders across the organization have access to reliable, high‑integrity metrics to guide strategic decision‑making. The role involves bridging the gap between complex data pipelines and executive‑level insights.
This requires a deep understanding of data modeling, SQL optimization, and the ability to translate technical findings into clear narrative recommendations that drive growth and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards in Tableau or Looker to track key performance indicators and operational health metrics.
- Write complex, performant SQL queries to extract and transform data from cloud warehouses like Snowflake or Big Query.
- Perform deep‑Dive exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Partner with engineering teams to define data requirements for new features and ensure downstream data quality and tracking accuracy.
- Build and automate recurring reports using Python or R to streamline internal workflows and reduce manual data preparation.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of product changes on user behavior and conversion funnels.
- Document data definitions, lineage, and business logic to maintain a single source of truth for the organization.
- 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar quantitative role in a high‑growth technology environment.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including experience with window functions, CTEs, and query performance tuning.
- Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI to build interactive, scalable reporting.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability distributions.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Physics.
- Bonus:
Familiarity with dbt (data build tool), version control via Git, or basic data engineering concepts.
