Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead the Dev Ops team to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes.
Responsibilities- Drive technical solution support to the team to align on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications.
- Design and define the overall Dev Ops architecture and framework for project or module delivery per the client requirements.
- Select and deploy the appropriate Dev Ops tool and platform aligned with the customer's requirements.
- Create a tool deployment model for validating, testing, and monitoring performance, and provision resources accordingly.
- Define and manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirements of the supported software code.
- Manage and drive the Dev Ops pipeline that supports the application lifecycle across the Dev Ops toolchain—from planning, coding, and building, to testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring.
- Work with the team to handle coding and scripting needed to connect code components to run software releases with operating systems and production infrastructure with minimal disruptions.
- Ensure onboarding of application configuration from planning to release stage.
- Integrate security throughout the Dev Ops lifecycle to maintain data privacy and mitigate cyber risks.
- Provide customer support or service on the Dev Ops tools, including timely support to internal and external customers and escalation handling.
- Troubleshoot issues arising in the implementation of Dev Ops tools, perform root‑cause analysis of major incidents, and develop alternative solutions.
- Follow escalation matrix and process when resolutions are complex or unresolved.
- Provide knowledge transfer, share best practices, and motivate the team.
- Team management:
Forecast talent requirements, hire, and train resources; ensure compliance with onboarding and training; build an internal talent pool and promote diversity; set goals and conduct performance reviews; drive engagement initiatives; track satisfaction scores; recognize and appreciate employees.
- Eight to ten years of experience in Dev Ops or a related field.
- Mandatory skills in Dev Ops practices and tools.
Expected compensation ranges from $80,000 to $158,000, plus standard benefits, including medical and dental coverage, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options.
