Fiber Technician

Insight Global is partnering with a fast-growing national AV, security, and IT contractor to hire Fiber Optic Technicians in the Denver area. This role will support high-profile data center projects and offers the opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing organizations in the data center space. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, dependable, and experienced in fiber splicing and testing in a fast‑paced environment.

• Install, route, and maintain fiber optic cabling in data center environments
• Perform fiber splicing and fusion to ensure network performance and reliability
• Conduct fiber testing using OTDR and OLTS equipment
• Troubleshoot fiber optic systems and resolve connectivity issues
• Support large-scale infrastructure builds and meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with field teams, leads, and project managers on‑site
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards

• Minimum 3 years of fiber splicing and testing experience
• Hands‑on experience with OTDR and/or OLTS testing equipment
• Ability to work independently and be self‑sufficient in the field
• Strong adaptability in fast‑paced project environments

• Experience in data center environments
• Prior work with structured cabling or low voltage systems
