AWS Cloud Watch is seeking engineers who are passionate about troubleshooting technical issues, automating manual processes, and continuously improving service efficiency to enhance customer experience. In this role, you will support Cloud Watch Monitoring and Cloud Watch Logs services in specialized security regions. You’ll work in a dynamic environment with our software development teams to deliver reliable services to our customers.

In this role, you’ll help ensure operational excellence and support AWS services in ADC regions.
In This Role, You Will- Analyze defined projects and break down the work to help define milestones and success criteria
- Identify when implementations lack high availability or contain defects; investigate systemic patterns
- Resolve, mitigate, or escalate operational concerns in a timely manner
- Support the operational stability of Cloud Watch and Cloud Watch Logs services in ADC environments
- Investigate the root cause of a customer issue impacting Cloud Watch service visibility
- Analyze metric trends to identify performance degradation or capacity concerns
- Collaborate with the team on automation opportunities for common operational tasks
- Participate in on‑call rotations, responding to service alerts and customer issues
- Dive deep into logs and metrics to understand system behavior and dependencies
- Discuss and implement improvements to the team's operational processes
This position requires that the candidate maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for the government agencies for which they perform AWS work.
Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+, CND (Certified Network Defender), Network+, or Security+
- 1+ years Linux systems administration experience
- 1+ years technical troubleshooting/support experience
- 1+ years of networking experience
- Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience with service‑oriented architecture and web services
- Experience with system administration on Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems
The base salary range for this position is USD 91,000.00 – annually. The package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
