Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Product Lead. This position will bridge the gap between business needs, data capabilities, and technical teams, ensuring data products are valuable, usable, and well-governed. This involves creating product roadmaps, drafting and refining product requirements, analysis, and product development insights. This position is a hybrid role in Denver, CO, requiring four days on-site each week.
Qualified candidates must live in the Denver metro area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive Seamless Entertainment program forward in a collaborative data-driven fashion
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand product requirements
- Help identify multiple data requests (aggregate) across the company
- Aggregate data in a consumable fashion for all stakeholders
- Ingest all data and tell an actionable data product strategy story
- Manage project priorities (kanban/agile)
- Drive action with stakeholders with varying degrees of technical experience
- Ensure Data Governance & Data Compliance policies are implemented and enforced
- Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and quality of data
- Drive adoption, education, and use of dashboards
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of direct product planning, product operations, and product management experience
- Experience in an Agile or Scaled Agile environment; familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
- Knowledge of technical product requirements and related business needs
- Strategic mindset grounded in customer needs and data-driven insights
- Proven success managing data-rich or analytics-driven products
- Analytical mindset with ability to turn ambiguity into actionable plans
- Experience aligning diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration
- Ability to navigate complex requirements and develop elegant solutions
- Proven initiative in complex situations
- Experience building and scaling data or analytics products that solve real user problems
Technical Skills
- Ability to extract data via Tableau & PowerBI and analyze to build data-driven stories
- Experience with SQL preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Power Point
- Experience with MS Project and JIRA helpful
- Industry experience in digital video products
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Managing multiple product lines and providing stakeholder updates in a large enterprise
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a quantitative field
- PMP certification helpful
- Consulting background advantageous
Compensation
For Colorado-based individuals, the role offers an hourly rate of $70 - $85 on a 6+ month contract. Compensation depends on experience, education, location, and certifications. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.
