The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join AWS. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success throughout their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices during project life cycles.
As a Delivery Consultant you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, lead implementation efforts, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks.
It is expected you will work from one of the listed locations (or customer sites) at least one day per week; this is not a remote position.
Key Job Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts to share knowledge within the organization
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
- Knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53, and S3)
- Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
- Current, active US government security clearance at the Top Secret level or above
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience
- Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional‑level certification
- Extensive knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and deploying business software at scale
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Proficiency in presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
