Manager, IT Security & AI Enablement

Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day IT Security Operations and oversee the offshore SOC analysts.
- Drive evolution of SOC operations through AI‑driven automation, enrichment, and response capabilities.
- Identify and implement AI tools and copilots to improve analyst productivity and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain SOC playbooks, including AI‑assisted workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement of detection, response and incident response processes using automation and AI.
- Direct and document processes and procedures for timely security ticket resolution and metrics reporting.
- Perform and lead threat hunting using traditional and AI‑assisted techniques.
- Act as escalation point for security issues and coordinate with Security, IT, and vendors until resolution.
- Promote security awareness and safe AI usage practices across staff and vendors.
- Remain current on emerging security and AI risks, trends, and technologies and share with the team.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend proactive and automated solutions.
- Provide periodic on‑call duties.
- College degree or 5–7 years of experience in IT with broad exposure to IT operations.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Security or Security Operations.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
- Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Skills with SIEM, detection tools, and security platforms.
- Experience in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with automation, scripting, or orchestration tools.
- Hands‑on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) in operational workflows.
- Experience evaluating or implementing AI solutions to improve operational efficiency or security outcomes.
- Understanding of how AI/LLMs can be applied to detection, response, and security operations.
- Familiarity with AI risks such as data leakage, hallucinations, and misuse.
- Ability to identify and drive AI adoption opportunities across operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading or driving adoption of AI capabilities within a team or function.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
- Show tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgement in handling sensitive matters.
- Experience with system and network administration.
- Experience in data platforms or analytics environments.
- Knowledge of global privacy standards.
- Experience with SOAR platforms or automation pipelines.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, cloud certifications, or AI‑related coursework.
Salary range: $142,000 – $175,000 (additional bonus target and compensation components will be determined based on location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities).
