Systems Administrator
Job Overview
The Platform Applications Team Lead serves as the primary Systems Administrator and strategic mentor for the Salesforce ecosystem within the Agency. This leader guides a hybrid team in delivering adaptive, high-value solutions to complex organizational problems while fostering a culture of autonomy, growth, and transparent collaboration.
Responsibilities- Remove operational roadblocks and empower the team to self‑manage daily workflows.
- Cultivate a cross‑functional environment where diverse technical approaches are respected and tested.
- Lead the internal Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), setting the standard for administrator best practices across the agency.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and subject‑matter experts to capture and document requirements that adhere to configure‑first and API‑driven architectures.
- Oversee the integrity of the software lifecycle, including comprehensive unit, end‑to‑end, accessibility, and regression testing to facilitate smooth release management.
- Build strong professional relationships with agency leaders to ensure Salesforce solutions meet evolving business needs and champion the platform’s future utility.
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience in areas such as IT requirements, solution/application building, database/data flow, IT ticketing systems, data governance, and related critical thinking and problem‑solving tasks, with clear demonstration of Salesforce Administration experience.
- OR a combination of related education and/or experience totaling seven (7) years.
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Experience leading technology project teams
- Experience in technology change‑management leadership
- Experience as a team lead or supervisor
- Experience performing related duties as a State of Colorado permanent employee
- Must be a Colorado resident at time of application.
