Brownstein seeks an IT Operations Manager to serve as a key leader within our Technology team. This role is responsible for ensuring the ongoing health, performance, security, and reliability of the firm’s IT systems and infrastructure by overseeing daily operational execution, driving service quality, and leading a high-performing technical team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong technical foundation, capable of managing IT operations while fostering cross-functional collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day IT operations to ensure performance, reliability, and security across IT systems.
- Promote and enforce adherence to operational processes and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and collaborate with peers and leadership to implement improvements.
- Support incident response efforts, driving timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, standardization, and process documentation.
IT Service Health & Performance:
- Monitor key performance indicators and service levels for infrastructure, applications, and end-user systems.
- Implement proactive maintenance strategies and performance tuning for critical systems.
Technical Management:
- Oversee design and architecture of on-prem and cloud technologies with an emphasis on service availability, performance, and security.
- Manage implementation of new technologies and changes, ensuring consistency and compatibility across systems.
- Continually appraise fit and utility of technologies used to deliver services to the business, making recommendations and guiding change, as appropriate.
- Develop robust understanding of in-use enterprise applications, recognizing top-to-bottom dependencies to ensure preparedness for timely resolution of service disruptions.
- Oversee IT engineering and administration staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a high-performing, service-oriented team culture focused on excellence and accountability.
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with other IT managers and departments to ensure alignment on strategy, resources, and priorities.
- Contribute to IT governance and planning initiatives, including capacity planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Partner with project teams on the deployment and transition of new systems and technologies into operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of IT to understand requirements and meet expectations. /li

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
